Physics Foundations: Units, Motion and Forces
About Course
Four English lessons in units, motion, graphs and forces, with worked examples, practice answers, a capstone and an online knowledge check.About this foundation module
One four-lesson module in units, straight-line motion and horizontal forces. Activities use supplied data or simulations. This is general foundation support, not a complete physics course or official Lebanese curriculum/examination alignment.
What you will learn
- Express distance, time and mass in consistent SI units, and convert between km/h and m/s.
- Calculate average speed including stops, interpret a cumulative distance–time graph, and distinguish speed from signed velocity.
- Calculate signed acceleration from velocity changes and use velocity signs to decide whether an object speeds up or slows down.
- Find the signed net horizontal force and use F_net = ma to calculate acceleration for a constant-mass cart.
Who it is for
Learners who want a structured first module before moving to more advanced study.
